Like rust, crime never sleeps.
Recently, one of our patrols intercepted three burglars before they could make off with the stolen property they had ‘stripped’ from one of the many rural locations we patrol south of Turangi.
A quick response & assistance from the Turangi Police ensured that at least one of the offenders was apprehended & all of the property returned. Police are ongoing with their enquiries to locate & apprehend the other two offenders. We are confident they will be brought to justice along with their partner in crime.
It’s been a busy time for the team at RUSEC & with summer fast approaching, we’re not expecting any let-up in criminal activity.
