While most people spent last Xmas morning opening presents & enjoying the company of whanau, the occupants of this red Hilux were probably stealing diesel from one of our hard working forestry crews.

Times are challenging enough for the guys working in the bush, especially at the moment. The last thing they need is someone helping themselves to their fuel.

The vehicle in question is likely to be driving around the Turangi or Taupo area.

Can you help with any information relating to this incident ? Maybe you’ve heard about diesel being sold ‘on the cheap’ in our community.
