A timely reminder, whanau, just to be careful when you’re out and about in the forests.The attached photo shows two tamariki hanging off the side of a vehicle whilst it is driving along a road that was being used by logging trucks. Recently, one of our patrols intercepted three burglars before they could make off with the stolen property they had ‘stripped’ from one of the many rural locations we patrol south of Turangi.A quick response & assistance from the Turangi Police ensured that at least one of the offenders was apprehended & all of the property returned.
